Window Film Installation Guide
Transforming your space is simple with Artscape. Our window films apply easily using just water and a little soap. With a few thoughtful steps, you’ll achieve a custom, design-forward finish that adds privacy, beauty, and light.
How to Measure
Include a 1/16” gap between the film edges and the window frame (inside the gasket).
How to Install
- STEP 1:Clean the glass
- STEP 2:Measure your window
- STEP 3:Trim the film to size
- STEP 4:Spray glass with soap solution
- STEP 5:Remove backing
- STEP 6:Apply film to your window
- STEP 7:Spray the film with soap solution
- STEP 8:Squeegee out any bubbles
- STEP 9:Wipe off excess moisture
How to Tile
Artscape can easily be cut or tiled together to fit any size window. The pattern repeats left to right and top to bottom on the factory edges. Each sheet is one repeat.

I had put a real piece of glass art in my front door. It was just a half moon but not cheap. I wanted to do the same for my back door but the glass is much larger and when I priced it out it was over $1000. then I was walking in my local Home Depot minding my own business when I saw the artscape display. so let me get this strait, I can put this film on and it will look like I spent a grand on my door? Hell yes! did not like what they had in the store so I went home and went to the Artscape website. found a pattern I thought would look good, ordered it. quick delivery, easy install and it looks just as good as the front door. Shut the back door!

We bought a modest church to renovate into a home and needed privacy film for several windows. Empire matches the glass design in our exterior doors perfectly! The Rice Paper design will work wonderfully on the bathroom and laundry windows. I had been looking a very long time and was thrilled when I found Artscape . Our Lowe’s store carries some of your patterns also. Thank you for the samples you sent out promptly on request. Seeing the product gave me the added assurance to place the order.
We aren’t ready to cover the windows, so I don’t have pictures.

This product transformed my bathroom. It’s beautiful,
Diffuses the light, was super easy to cut and install. I wanted my beautiful trim to show, by using this-I do not need to fuss with any fabric window coverings. I have received lots of compliments. I purchased more and completed my front door and side lights as well. I have included before and after photos
