Window Film Installation Guide
Transforming your space is simple with Artscape. Our window films apply easily using just water and a little soap. With a few thoughtful steps, you’ll achieve a custom, design-forward finish that adds privacy, beauty, and light.
How to Measure
Include a 1/16” gap between the film edges and the window frame (inside the gasket).
How to Install
- STEP 1:Clean the glass
- STEP 2:Measure your window
- STEP 3:Trim the film to size
- STEP 4:Spray glass with soap solution
- STEP 5:Remove backing
- STEP 6:Apply film to your window
- STEP 7:Spray the film with soap solution
- STEP 8:Squeegee out any bubbles
- STEP 9:Wipe off excess moisture
How to Tile
Artscape can easily be cut or tiled together to fit any size window. The pattern repeats left to right and top to bottom on the factory edges. Each sheet is one repeat.

Received my first order. The designs are beautiful. The material is easy to work with. I've used other brands of decorative window film, but the quality in Artscape is superior. The windows look lovely. But the reason for only four stars is the waste. These window films are not cut to order so the sizes must be what is considered 'standard'. But when a third of the material is waste, it's like you are not getting your full money's worth. I live in a 1927, one story bungalow with 19 windows, different sizes in each room. I plan to buy more of the film if I can find a design that doesn't leave so much waste after installation. I was told by customer service that some of the designs work if you turn them sideways. So far, the measurements are still a drawback. But if having a lot of wasted material is outweighed by the more positive points regarding the film, then I'd say it is a good purchase.

Love this pattern for being subtle but for having just a little pop of earthy colors. The privacy level is very good while allowing softened light.
